On the morning of Monday, April 27 we packed up the car, said our goodbyes to Denton, Leonora and Adeline and headed northwest through Wyoming toward Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks knowing full well they were both closed but hoping to see what we could. The sights we saw were amazing! We passed through the highest spot on the old Lincoln Highway.
We headed through the high plains and towards the mountains and we even saw some wildlife.
The mountains were still covered in snow the further north we went.
Snow was piled higher than the car!
Finally got to Grand Teton National Park but, it was closed.
They can close the park but, it is pretty hard to hide these beautiful mountains!
It was getting late in the day and, we needed to figure out where we were going to sleep. As we headed towards Jackson, Wyoming, we passed by feeding elk and buffalo.
