Chapter 17

If Tuesday was exciting and event filled, Wednesday May 6 was anticlimactic. We woke in Flagstaff, AZ with the intent to go to Las Vegas, Nevada and the Hoover Dam. It is about a 4 hour drive from Flagstaff to this area. And everything was closed. We couldn't even get a glimpse of the dam and we got quizzed as to what we were doing 3 times in an hour in Vegas. Not even by police but, over zealous security guards excited to have something to do.

After about an hour, we realized that we had over stayed our welcome by about 55 minutes and we headed northeast towards southern Utah. At least the drive was beautiful.

After driving for most of the day, we made it to Utah and called it a day.
