Lise and I got up on Saturday, May 9 and packed up the car ready to head for South Dakota via Nebraska until my daughter Judi in Fort Collins called to invite us to breakfast. We were very excited to hear from her and immediately changed our plans. I am so mad at myself that we did not get any pictures but, we did have a wonderful visit and didn't leave Fort Collins, CO until late in the afternoon. At this point, were contemplating heading south towards New Mexico but, stuck with our original plan and headed for Nebraska.
We headed north towards South Dakota passing through the Pine Bluffs and Scott's Scott's Bluffs area. It was very pretty country, much nicer than we expected Nebraska to be.
Eventually we made it to South Dakota where we drove to Rapid City before calling it a night.
