Chapter 15

Lise and I started Monday May 4 in Oceanside, CA and headed for San Diego and another empty city.

Before leaving, we did need to take a pic in front of Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres!

We were hoping to visit a local beach for a swim

but it wasn't meant to be. So, we decided to head east through southern California towards Arizona. What a beautiful ride!

The temperature rose steadily as we rode through the desert and was well over 100 degrees when we reached the Arizona border.

We found Arizona to be quite beautiful!

And they even have the London Bridge!

From here, we used our remaining daylight to head towards Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon!
