Chapter 14

On Sunday May 3 we woke up at what we agree was our prettiest campsite of the entire trip.
Located right on a very quiet stretch of the Pacific Coast Highway in Big Sur, CA on a cliff about 75 feet above the ocean, the view was breath taking.
From here, we packed up and headed south stopping to say good morning to some elephant seals on our way to Los Angeles.
Los Angeles, America's second largest city. was empty. From Venice Beach and boardwalk
to Hollywood
The streets were eerily deserted.
We were very thankful to have made plans for a visit with cousins Cheryl & Kelsey and some friendly faces in Orange County after a rather unfriendly experience in LA.
