Chapter 12

Friday, May 1, 2020 was another amazing day! We started the day traveling south on the Pacific Coast Byway from Coos Bay, Oregon.

We drove along the beautiful southern Oregon Coast.

We also saw sea lions,

and dinosaurs!

Finally, we crossed into California.

We came to Crescent City and a large sea lion population.

Next, we headed for giant redwood country.

After stopping for lunch

we headed for the Avenue of the Giants, a 32 mile road through a redwood forest.

Towards the end of the road, we found a fallen redwood to help put things in perspective.

We ended the day watching another spectacular sunset over the Pacific Ocean.
