Our plan was to take a day or two getting back to New England. There was a brewery in Michigan that we wanted to visit.
But, it was closed due to crona. We thought we might swing by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland but, it was closed. So we thought 'let's just drive through'. So we did.
We arrived home around 12:30pm on Thursday, May 14. 2020. We were tired but happy with what we had just accomplished. We had travelled just over 12,000 miles (further than the distance from the North Pole to the South Pole) covering 35 states. The day we got back to Portland, Maine was day 28 of our trip. And we had a trip that we will remember for the rest of our lives.
